At MWCold, we are a recognized premier logistics provider of multi-temperature warehouse services in the Midwest region. We provide warehouse services to the food, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing industries.
Our company offers over 560,000 square feet of strategically located, sprinklered, multi-temp space in 2 central Indiana locations offering inside rail, 53 doors, separate rooms, -20 capabilities, racked & bulk areas. We feature CCTV, EDI, WMS, RF scanners, a web portal with online, real-time access to activity reports, temperatures & climate monitoring.

Tim Siddiq was born and raised in Kabul, Afghanistan and moved to his mother’s hometown of Indianapolis in 1979. While a student at Ball State University, he worked at Merchandise Warehouse on weekends and summer breaks. Tim soon realized that warehousing ran in his blood and decided to work for the family business after graduating from Ball State University in 1993.
Working his way up from warehouseman to President and CEO, he is proud to say he has spent time working in every department of the company. Tim was promoted to the position of President and CEO in 2008 and has grown the company 400% since.
Chairman & CEO
Andrew graduated with a BA from Franklin College in 2010. During college, he worked as a material handler and worked his way up into supervision shortly after graduating. He joined the MWCold family in mid-2018 and brings his 8 ½ years of cold storage experience, along with 6 years of SQF and HACCP Certified knowledge, to an already experienced family company that values their customers and workforce.
Inventory / Quality Manager
John has over 6 years of Supervisor/Manager warehouse experience, with the last 8 months at MWCold running 3rd shift. He graduated with honors from Indiana University, with a BA in Journalism, and a minor in Psychology.
Warehouse Supervisor
Tyler Carlson graduated with honors from Indiana University with a BS in Distribution Management and Marketing Management. He started his career with MWCold in 2008. Tyler has been a valued and recognized team member in his career development including Team Leader, Logistics Supervisor, Distribution Supervisor, and Warehouse Manager, Vice President, and is now President & COO.
President & COO
John Billstrand is our Director of Human Resources and joined the MWCold family in 2019. John possess over 25 years Human Resources Generalist/Management experience in the hospitality industry working at various hotel chains such as Marriott and Omni Hotels & Resorts. He graduated from Hope College in Holland, Michigan with a double major in Sociology and Psych./Soc. Composite. He also volunteers his time at Grace Church North Indy as security for Grace Kids and he is a lead tech with Vehicle Services.
Director of Human Resources
Patrick has developed his skills through over 10 years’ experience in a warehouse leadership and has been with MWCold since 2016. He believes that the focus on the individual employee and their daily life helps makes MWCold successful.
Operations Manager
Thom is an experienced industry leader with a proven track record of developing people, teams, and businesses to reach their full potential. He is known for transforming portfolios for growth, as well as setting and achieving ambitious goals while motivating large organizations to drive positive change through Operational Excellence.
Thom is passionate about working in a customer-centric organization that promotes inclusive culture and proudly builds real partnerships. When he’s not at MWCold, Thom enjoys time with his family traveling and enjoying the blessings that they are surrounded with.
Executive Vice President
Augie is currently the Facilities Manager for MWCold.
Throughout his 20+ years at MWCold he has developed his skills in many aspects of the business from warehousing to Ammonia Refrigeration. He studied at Vincennes University right after high school and started at the warehouse not long after. He has developed critical knowledge in Ammonia Refrigeration, which helps MWCold differentiate and standout from the competition. This and his belief in the MWCold’s Core Values is critical in MWCold’s success.
Facilities Manager
Derek joined Merchandise Warehouse in April of 2021 as a Warehouse Supervisor and has worked in a cold storage environment for 11 years. The cold storage work environment has been a part of his entire life as his father has been in the field for 30+ years. Before starting his journey here, Derek was a Supervising Team Lead at Interstate Warehousing.
Operations Manager
Our most recent addition to the team, John’s raw experience in warehousing has proven to be a true asset. His first job was a material handler in a frozen warehouse at 18 years old. Over the course of his career, John has worked in floor level positions, leadership roles, and management positions. His intuitive analytical skills has made him a natural to the warehouse environment, and is a welcomed asset to the team.
Warehouse Supervisor
Sharif Siddiq joined MW Cold in 2011 and handles Business Development, Sales, and Marketing. Sharif graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science in 1992. Sharif has 26 years of business to business marketing experience, including 11 at MW Cold, and plays a key role in the strategic growth of the company. Sharif is passionate about helping carry on his grandfathers vision of Merchandise Warehouse.
Business Development Manager
Mark first joined Merchandise Warehouse in February of 2012 as a Warehouse Associate and has worked in a cold storage environment for almost 18 years. Before starting his journey here Mark was apart of a safety and training team for Interstate Warehouse.
We are excited to see one of our OWN grow with the company and look forward to seeing what the future holds.
Safety and Training Manager
Statton started with MWCold in 2015. He graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in OLS. MW is his first foray into a freezer setting but he has been working in warehousing since 2010.
Office Manager
Austin first joined MWCold in 2014 as a Warehouse Associate. He has since then worked his way up to 1st Shift Supervisor by showing dedication and personability with the employees and customers of MWCold.
Austin has worked in several fields here at MWCold such as team lead, spotter, trainer, and photographer. We are excited to see his continued growth with the company.
